A steady reflective space
Many of the people who choose to work with me are used to managing responsibility or coping quietly under strain. Counselling offers a space where the focus can be on you.
My work is grounded in a person-centred approach and informed by an understanding of trauma. I offer a steady and reflective space where difficult experiences can be explored safely and at a pace that feels manageable. I am comfortable working with complex or emotionally demanding situations, and with conversations that may feel challenging or unresolved.
Depth and practical support
Alongside depth and reflection, we may also think practically about patterns, boundaries or strategies that support meaningful change in everyday life. My aim is not simply to listen, but to help you make sense of what is happening and move forward with greater clarity.
Individual differences and neurodivergence
I am attentive to individual differences, including neurodivergence, and have undertaken additional specialist training with the National Autistic Society. If particular adjustments around pace, communication or structure would be helpful, we can think together about what feels supportive.
You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin. We work collaboratively, allowing clarity and direction to develop over time.


Working online
I offer counselling sessions online for adults who want a private, calm space to talk and reflect.
Working online allows you to attend sessions from a place where you feel comfortable and at ease. Many people find it easier to speak openly when they are in familiar surroundings, without needing to think about being seen before or after a session.
Online counselling also removes the effort of travelling, which can feel significant when you are already dealing with stress, loss, or change. Sessions take place at a regular time and in much the same way as in-person counselling, giving you a consistent and reliable space each week.
I use a secure video platform and take care to protect your privacy. It can help to choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted, and where you feel able to speak freely.
If technology ever gets in the way, we can simply reconnect or agree an alternative way to continue the session.
