Pre-counselling
consultation
A pre-therapy consultation is a short, free conversation to help you decide whether starting therapy feels right for you. It offers space to briefly share what has brought you here and what you are hoping for, without any pressure to commit.
During the call, we think together about what might be most helpful at this stage. For some people, a single focused session is enough to work through a specific issue. Others benefit from ongoing sessions over time. We can consider these options and what would best support you now.
Just as importantly, the consultation is about fit. Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and able to speak openly. This conversation allows you to get a sense of how I work, ask any questions, and notice how it feels to talk together.
If we decide to go ahead, we can agree next steps. If not, there is no obligation. You are free to take time to consider what feels right.
